After enjoying a long-running bull stock market, the recent drop in stock prices is causing investor angst. However, a look at long-term stock market history tells us that the stock market has steadily risen over time. On the other hand, that is not to say that it always rises, there are bound to be interruptions along the way. But most importantly, although investors feel the pain of a falling market, they are often unaware of the reasons why, or even if the dropping prices are justified. As a corollary to this, it is also quite common for investors to have no idea as to whether (or not) stocks will rise again, or when, and for how long it might take.

Therefore, I offer this video to help enlighten investors to the importance of valuation and what it means for not only past and present prices, but importantly for future prices as well.
